TAKE MY HAND (with pictures)

 

I have not been able to work on my computer recently as I have been ill, so there has been quite a gap since my last post.  I found this poem (Take My Hand), when I was feeling very low and I think it will help a lot of people to realise that God is in control and He is watching over us all with great mercy and LOVE.  If you would honestly, truly love to feel God’s presence in your life, find a time when you can be alone with God and simply pray and ask The Lord Jesus Christ (God The Son) to come and live in your heart and to guide your life from now on. In order to do this you have to realise that we are all sinners and we make mistakes, but as soon as you repent of your sins, however great or small, and ask Jesus to change your life, He hears you.  He (God The Holy Spirit) will live in your heart and from that moment on you will have Eternal Life (Salvation).  It begins as soon as we have asked and goes on until and after we die.  Jesus, by the power of The Holy Spirit causes us to become perfect enough to live in Heaven!

       

           

     

We often try to lead our own lives in our own way, but sometimes we get into a mess trying to do things in our own strength, but God really does know what is best for us!  Allow God to give you strength to do the things He wants you to do and to become the person He wants you to be, by the power of The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will guide you in what decisions you have to make and gradually you will come to recognise God’s still small voice leading you in the correct way in life. Sometimes God allows difficult situations to come into our lives to make us strong, not to punish us!   

 

TAKE MY HAND

I cannot ease your aching heart,

Nor take your pain away,

But let me stay and take your hand

And walk with you today.

I’ll listen when you need to talk,

I’ll wipe away your tears,

I’ll share your worries when they come,

I’ll help you face your fears.

I’m here and I will stand by you,

Each hill you have to climb.

So take my hand,

let’s face the world,

Live one day at a time.

You’re not alone, for I’m still here…

I’ll go that extra mile.

And when your grief is easier, I’ll help you learn to smile!
